CREATING A CNC EXPERIMENTAL PROTOTYPE LASER USING RECYCLABLE MATERIALS FOR MECHANICAL PARTS

Abstract


The paper aims to provide an idea of how to build a CNC laser from recyclable materials to create design by wood pyrography. To convert images into CNC commands line CNC Benbox Laser Engraver was used. To build the mechanical part old computer parts were recycled for cost reduction at the minimum on constructive functional architecture. For the computational part were used the motors from two recycled dvd-roms, an Arduino UNO board, an Arduino CNC Shield board, two controllers for the stepper motors, relay, power cable, data transmission cable from the laptop.
