DESIGN OF A LINEAR HYDRAULIC MICRO-TURBINE TO COMPENSATE THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF A HOUSE
Hydropower is an important source of renewable energy globally that is still resulting in new constructions and technological advances and is in a continuous growth. The paper presents the conception and design of a linear hydraulic micro-turbine for the supply of a household. This type of turbine can be easily installed on most watercourses, even at low flow. Due to the tendencies of increasing the consumption
of electricity, respectively of increasing its price, this work leads to a development of the industry related to renewable and ecological energy. An important impact factor on high energy consumption may be the tendency of the automotive industry to implement and build all electric cars during this period. All processes that require the conversion of hydraulic energy into electricity do not pose a danger of environmental pollution. Their maintenance costs are relatively low and constitute a long-term solution.
