Support services in universities represent a key factor in the successful implementation of performance and management strategies. These services are supplementary to the main purpose of a university – the educational process and research activity – being the processes that ensure institutional integrity on the one hand, and centralized services dedicated to the academic community, on the other hand. Students represent the central focus of academic activities, as they account for the largest share of the academic community. The paper aims to present a quantitative and qualitative analysis of support services in a university in Timisoara, Romania.
