DETERMINATION OF ANTIVIBRATIONAL PROPERTIES OF SOME MATERIALS MADE FROM WASTES
Abstract
This paper presents experimental results for determining the damping ratio of some new materials with composite structure. To do this, the starting point is given by achieving materials from particles of recycled rubber from used tires and polyurethane binder, combined with other materials already existing on the market (cork or fabric) or with a material made from pine sawdust and polyurethane binder. Finally, the damping properties of composite materials were calculated using the logarithmic decrement method.
Key words: damping coefficient, vibrational materials, and logarithmic decrementReferences
