Abstract


Universities play a crucial role in promoting awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and engaging students, faculty, and staff in sustainable practices. They facilitate partnerships with various sectors, fostering cross-sectoral collaboration for SDG advancement. Universities also reach out to communities through education and outreach, raising public awareness and encouraging sustainability. By implementing sustainable practices in their operations, they set an example. The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca recognizes the importance of integrating sustainability principles. As a leading higher education institution, it has the intellectual capacity to contribute to environmental solutions through sustainable education, research, and practices. Their strategy emphasizes sustainability and inclusivity, aiming to strengthen institutional protocols and showcase successful sustainable development practices.
