SEEDING THE FUTURE: A JOURNEY THROUGH THE EVOLUTION AND PROSPECTS OF AGRICULTURAL ROBOTICS

Abstract


The incorporation of robotics in farming has severely impacted the traditional farming practices, in terms of improving efficiency and sustainability as well as effectiveness. This paper presents a comprehensive overview of the historical evolution of robotic applications in agriculture, highlighting significant milestones and breakthroughs. Drawing upon scientific references, this paper explores the information about the basic types of robotic technologies used in different types of works in the agricultural sector from seeding and harvesting crops to controlling and improving the quality of the products in various agricultural tasks.
