DESIGN OPTIMIZATION METHODS FOR CONCEPTUAL DESIGN OF NUCLEAR MICROREACTOR
Abstract
This work examines the optimization techniques that can be employed in the construction of nuclear microreactors. A successful model would have the advantage of enabling the efficient distribution of energy to remote communities or facilities. Given their large size and the need for safety precautions, this subject requires creative solutions and additional research. We explore the specific optimization strategies for thermal management and the effective removal of heat from the core, which is a crucial element of every nuclear reactor core.
