SPECIFIC PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS AND PSYCHOSENSORY EFFECTS TO THE NOISE GENERATED BY CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT

Abstract

The paper presents the psycho-sensory and pathophysiological effects caused by vibrations and noise generated by construction equipment while technological work processes. Thus, the causes of the occurrence of mental and auditory disorders as result of the spectral content of the noises were analyzed, as well as the level of sound pressure taken both in the driver's cabin and outside. The results of vibrations and acoustic pressure levels for earthmoving equipment were obtained by "in situ" measurements on construction sites in Romania.
