THE REPLACEMENT OF THE PENDULAR DYNAMIC ABSORBER WITH A ROTATING MASS

Abstract


The paper aims to study from a theoretical point of view the replacement of a pendulum dynamics absorber with a rotating mass which develops the same dynamic effect as the dynamic absorber. The dynamic absorber is an oscillating system which is attached to a structure in order to eliminate its vibrations. In practice, they are used to reduce the torsion vibration amplitudes of crankshafts.
