CIRCULAR ECONOMY INDICATORS IN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY
Abstract
The concept of the circular economy is increasingly discussed, from its theoretical foundations to its integration with and distinction from related concepts such as environmental protection and sustainability. To enhance its practical applicability, defining circularity indicators is essential. By establishing and measuring a well-defined set of indicators, the level of circularity can be assessed across different industries and at various levels. Building on this, we have identified relevant indicators from the existing literature and selected those applicable to the automotive industry. From the total number of 112 indicators identified, 22 indicators were selected and analyzed considering the life cycle perspective.
