Abstract

This paper presents the emerging technologies that can be used in upper-limb rehabilitation after stroke. In addition, the upper-limb functionalities that can be regained through rehabilitation are defined. The field of robot-assisted rehabilitation is developing rapidly; therefore, a series of robot structures created for upper-limb rehabilitation are described, specifying the functionalities they address.
