OPTIMAL DESIGN OF AN ONE-WAY PLATE COMPACTOR

Abstract


This paper presents a software tool and a method for optimizing the design of a one-way plate compactor. Starting from the mechanical model of a plate compactor, a mathematical model was made. Based on the mathematical model, a software was developed to study the influence of constructive parameters on the machine's behaviour. Studying the influence of constructive parameters, an optimal variant can be achieved.
