FACILITATED LEARNIG IN A HIGH-TECH MANUFACTURING ERA

Hannelore ILESAN, Dan BERINDE

Abstract

This paper introduces a lasting learning process for engineers in a high-tech manufacturing era. We conducted a qualitative multinational research focused on the manufacturing industry, conducted under the statement: Why strategies do fail at an organizational level. The results indicate that an intensive current education in “engineering science”, based on just-in-case and not just-in-time project specific requirements, does not create managers and team leaders able include global, cultural, and business contexts.
