TRAPEZOIDAL THREADING CYCLE FOR NUMERICAL CONTROLED LATHES

Abstract


This paper describes a mathematical methode that will generate the passes of a trapezoidal threading cycle for numerical controled lathes. The purpose of this paper is to find an equation that will generate values that are closer to the values suggested by the threading insert manufacturer.
