Abstract

Worldwide economies have as a pillar the manufacturing industry – a sustainable one. Hence this paper’s main objective is to evaluate the information system (IS) success within an automotive sector company from a green production management perspective. The innovative methodological approach will integrate DeLone and McLean’s model adapted to the production management sustainable requirements. In this case study the statistical approach is a complex one and uses the survey method based on a questionnaire. The research results are both methodological and empirical. Thus, a viable methodological framework is developed to evaluate IS success from a green production management perspective. Also, based on quantitative results, relevant conclusions are formulated for the automotive company’s particular case.
