Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive framework for monitoring ventilation ducts in harsh environments, addressing operational challenges. Leveraging Industry 4.0 technologies, it employs advanced sensors, data processing, and Ethernet communication for enhanced reliability and flexibility. The system monitors vibration, temperature, and pressure to detect faults early, using frequency analysis and vibration envelopes to assess machine health. It features a multi-processor system for real-time data analysis and web-based diagnostic tools. Experimental validation shows comparable performance to traditional methods, with improved safety, durability, and reduced downtime, advancing predictive maintenance for industrial ventilation systems.
