STUDY ON MILLING STRATEGIES FOR MACHINING RADIATOR GUARDS USED IN ENDURO COMPETITIONS

Abstract


Off-road motorcycles are used for both cross enduro and hard enduro. Their use on rough terrain involves certain problems related to the fenders, which are part of these motocross motorcycles. At FM-PARTS, we redesigned and manufactured the fenders from a much more resistant material, compared to the factory one. To carry out this research, it was necessary to redesign the 3D model of the fenders used on KTM 2025 motocross motorcycles. For this 3D model, special devices and tools are required to be able to execute them on the CNC machine.
