Abstract

The expansion of 4G/5G wireless networks has brought significant benefits, but also new challenges related to information security, driven by misinformation and declining public trust. In this context, transparency of data on electromagnetic field (EMF) exposure becomes essential for effective risk communication and evidence-based public policies. This paper analyzes the Monitor EMF platform, managed by ANCOM, from the perspective of its alignment with the requirements of the NIS2 Directive and data-driven digital governance. The results indicate that clear and accessible presentation of EMF data can reduce misinterpretations and contribute to increased public trust, thereby supporting societal resilience within the European digital context.
