One of the main trends in nowadays industry is to develop end products that are optimal with respect to some given criteria. Often the criteria are expressed using complex functions that cannot be used within an optimization algorithm due to several reasons. Therefore the evaluation of the end products has to be performed using approximate values for those criteria. The approximation of bearing life using Kriging is presented in this paper.
